What is different about Kids Summer Fest compared to other similar events?

Once you purchase a ticket you ride for free! Also included in your ticket are the water blaster arena, silent disco, giant interactive string art mural, toddler zone and so much more! We have the best range of carnival rides, amazing displays, interactive attractions and something for all age groups at a low price. Our carefully selected attractions list is a year in the making and we go above and beyond to bring you something new, fresh and exciting each year. All of this by the river in the picturesque and convenient location at Elizabeth Quay!

Is the venue undercover?

The venue is partially shaded under a giant circus big top, with over 2000sqm of shade! The majority of the carnival rides, exhibits and activities are out in the sunshine. The main stage, dining area, and chill out areas are all undercover.
The event will go ahead rain, hail or shine!

Will I need to bring cash with me on the day?

Most of the entertainment and activities at Kids Summer Fest are included in your ticket price, however there are optional paying extras available on the day including additional Sideshow Games, Showbags, Food and Beverages. Some vendors accept EFTPOS and several ATM’s are located on site, however it is recommended to bring cash to the event, in order to avoid queues.

Can I ride with my child?

Not all rides are suitable for adults. Most of the rides are designed for children aged between 2 and 12 years old and there are height restrictions in place. Adults can ride on the:

Adults are unable to ride on:

Taxi Jets
Inflatable Rides

Will there be queues for the rides?

We anticipate the wait time for most rides to be minimal in comparison to other similar events. Extra staffing has been provided to ensure smooth operation and queue barriers are in place to manage the lines.

What time is Paw Patrol?

Paw Patrol is on stage three times per session. They appear every hour, on the hour.

Can prams be brought into the event?

Pushers/Prams/Strollers are allowed into the event.
We ask that you be mindful & respectful when wheeling your pusher around the venue to avoid bumping into other patrons.

What food and beverages will be available?

Kids Summer Fest has a range of food and beverages available including sandwiches, hot food, gelato, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
We will announce our vendors closer to the event!
We also have Fairy Floss and Popcorn stands at the event.
Unfortunately no food items are allowed to be brought into the event, only bottled water.

My child is under 2 years old, do I still need to purchase them a ticket?

Children under 2 are free WITH a full paying child and an accompanying full paying adult.
(Please note that this event is tailored to children 2-12 years old).
No rides or activities are suitable for children under 2.

Are companion cards accepted?

Kids Summer Fest accepts companion cards for carers to gain free entry (for the carer only). Please email [email protected] with your proof of purchase and companion card to be issue your ticket.
Your companion is still required to purchase a ticket and pay the normal entry price.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

We highly recommend pre-purchasing your tickets online now to secure your preferred date and session time as each session has only a limited amount of tickets available.
Door sales will be available on the day, but only for sessions that have not sold out. Door sales will be strictly limited, we can not guarantee availability.
Door sale prices are at a higher rate than the online prices:
Adults (14+) $25 + booking fee
Child (2-14) $35 + booking fee
*Please note sold out sessions will have no door sales available.

What happens if I lose my ticket or I haven’t received it?

What if I am unable to print my ticket?

No worries! We are environmentally conscious and prefer to scan tickets off mobile phones. Please have either your printed tickets ready for scanning or have the barcode clearly visible on the phone.
Please ensure your brightness is turned up on your smartphone and that the screen is not excessively smashed or cracked.
